SPS Mastering is open 365 days a year

Simon Scott at SPS Mastering offers professional quality audio MASTERING services using vintage, analogue and digital equipment for the final step of audio post-production.

What do we do? Processing occurs in the analogue domain with digital outboard processing and use some software plugins for limiting, metering and audio analysis.

What is Mastering? The purpose of mastering is to balance sonic elements of a stereo mix and optimize playback across all systems and media formats. Traditionally, mastering is done using tools like equalization, compression, limiting and stereo enhancement.

CD + Digital Download Mastering Rates:

One track, up to six minutes of audio to master, starts at £75.00 (GBP)^ with no set up fee for digital or CD releases and x1 free revision.

^  tracks over 6 minutes have a negotiable rate (please email: teamsimonscott@gmail.com

All prices include a master file (DDP) for CD or Wav files (for vinyl, cassette and digital downloads) with no set up costs for CD or digital or cassettes

Vinyl Mastering rates:

Vinyl mastering template set up is £100.00. SO therefore if you are having a CD, digital download, or cassette mastered and want vinyl too it is only an additional £100.00 for both formats (on top of the cost to master your CD, digital masters or cassette. For example, 8 x tracks (£75.00 each track) = £600.00 plus vinyl mastering costs is a total cost of £700.00.

*Please contact me for prices, as I DO offer discounts for independent or unsigned artists wishing to get their music mastered or mixed, or for enquiries email me at - teamsimonscott@gmail.com

Mixing Rates:

Each stem is £100.00 so a three stem song of the drums +
bass guitars (1 stem), guitars (2), and synths and/or keys (3), is a total of £300.00 to mix. I cap mixing at £400 but for under eight stems.
