Congratulations to British band Sennen on their album 'Widows', that we mastered here for CD, vinyl and download, going into the Official Record Store Top Twenty charts in Britain at number 18 in July 2021! 

What do we do at SPS Mastering? Processing occurs in the analogue domain, on professional audio industry hardware equipment, with digital outboard processing, and the use of various software plugins for limiting, metering, audio analysis and restoration. 

What is SPS Mastering? The purpose of mastering is to balance sonic elements of a stereo mix and optimize playback across all systems and media formats. Traditionally, mastering is done using tools like equalization, compression, limiting and stereo enhancement. We perceive mastering as a way of framing, finishing and perfecting the hard creative work of songwriters/composers/bands or solo artists for commercial release.

SPS Mastering Rates

CD + Digital Download + Cassette Mastering Rates 2022:

One track, up to five minutes of audio to master, starts at £75.00 (GBP) with no set up fee for digital or CD releases.
^  tracks over 5 minutes have a negotiable rate (please email).

All prices include a master file (DDP with embedded metadata such as ISRC codes and other info) or the delivery of Wav files (for vinyl, cassette and digital downloads) with no set up costs for CD, digital download or cassette. 

Vinyl Mastering rates 2022:

Vinyl mastering template set up is £200.00. Therefore if you are having a CD, digital download, or cassette mastered and want vinyl too it is only an additional £200.00 for both formats (on top of the cost to master your CD, digital masters or cassette. For example, 8 x tracks (£75.00 each track) = £600.00 plus vinyl mastering costs is a total cost of £800.00.

Mixing Rates:

Each stem is £100.00 so a four stem song of the drums + bass guitars (1 stem), guitars (mixed into 1 stem), vocals (1 stem), and synths and/or keys (mixed into one stem), is a total of £400.00 to mix.
